You can probably guess which one is me
I tried it several times -- always lost a couple or a few pounds but never reached my 10 lb. goal. I felt fine while I was on it, but did always regain the weight.
I remember a couple of impressions...
1) There wasn't much room to cheat! Some diets are strict enough that even if you cheat you can still lose weight. With Weight Watchers it felt like if you cheated at all you could forget about losing the pounds!
2) Some of the counselors were heavier than I, which wasn't very inspiring. Then again, thinking back, some of them had probably lost 100 pounds to get where they were...which certainly is inspiring.
I would recommend it to others, not based on my experience, but because I think it is a very safe diet and I know scads of others have succeeded on it.
Comments for Weight Watching a long time ago.
